\u201cHappy Sad Confused\u201d<\/a> podcast that Driver has been approached to star in multiple projects, but always turns them down.<\/p>\n\u201cMany, many, many, many [conversations],\u201d Feige said. \u201cIt\u2019s no secret we\u2019d like to get [him on board], but it\u2019s a tradition to Zoom with him and then he passes. That\u2019s a long-lived tradition.\u201d<\/p>\n
Feige made it clear that Driver \u201ccouldn\u2019t be more cordial\u201d about his refusal to work with Marvel. \u201cHe\u2019s usually up-front about how he\u2019s feeling,\u201d Feige added.<\/p>\n
Driver has been rumored to be in consideration for roles like Magneto or Mr. Sinister in the \u201cX-Men\u201d franchise.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s no stranger to a big franchise either, having starred as Kylo Ren in the \u201cStar Wars\u201d sequel trilogy.<\/p>\n
But the actor is apparently very selective about his roles, including his breakout one in the HBO series \u201cGirls.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI was doing a lot of theater at the time and I didn\u2019t really watch a lot of TV shows, which I hope doesn\u2019t sound like elitist, but I wasn\u2019t interested. And my agent convinced me to go in and read for \u2018Girls.\u2019 And I met Lena [Dunham] and got the job. And it changed the course of my life,\u201d Driver told ScreenRant in 2021.<\/p>\n
Feige also addressed other rumored A-listers fot other Marvel movies, like Ryan Gosling starring in a \u201cGhost Rider\u201d film and Cynthia Erivo taking on the role of Storm in \u201cX-Men.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou never know what the future may bring, both very good actors and great characters,\u201d was all he said on the podcast.<\/p>\n
