Now, a small new study suggests that combining compounds from both into a specially formulated beverage may help reduce inflammation in <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_food-drink_article_main-content_article-body_6_2109075\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/health\/nutrition-and-fitness\/obesity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">adults with obesity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\" class=\"speakable\">Researchers at Ohio State University found that adults who drank two 6-ounce servings of a tomato-soy beverage each day for four weeks experienced significant reductions in several markers of systemic inflammation, according to <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_food-drink_article_main-content_article-body_6_2109076\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/food-drink\/food\/studies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">a study<\/a> published in the journal Molecular Nutrition &amp; Food Research.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">The beverage wasn&#8217;t ordinary tomato juice.
