Liverpool<\/a>\u2019s quest to add Bradley Barcola to manager Andoni Iraola<\/a>\u2019s squad has just become tougher, with Bayern Munich looking at the Paris Saint-Germain winger as a potential replacement for Michael Olise, according to a German journalist.<\/p>\n

On July 9, TEAMtalk\u2019s transfer insider, Graeme Bailey, reported that Liverpool are keen on signing Barcola in the summer transfer window<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sources have told us that Barcola<\/a> has informed PSG that he wants to leave this summer.<\/p>\n

We understand that PSG<\/a> want to keep the France international winger and want to open talks over a new deal.<\/p>\n

However, should last season\u2019s Ligue 1 and Champions League winners have to sell Barcola this summer, then they will demand at least \u20ac150million (\u00a3128m, $170.5m).<\/p>\n

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said this week that Barcola is Liverpool\u2019s<\/a> top target for the winger position.<\/p>\n

Romano said on his\u00a0YouTube channel<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cAnd Barcola, let me repeat, today, yesterday, last month, two months ago, three months ago, Barcola is the top, top, top target of Liverpool.<\/p>\n

\u201cLiverpool love Barcola.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know many of you doubt my information because maybe the information is not everywhere, and so many of you say, \u2018Ah, but it\u2019s impossible. Ah, but it\u2019s not going to happen\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s going to be possible financially, but what I can tell you is that for sure Liverpool remain super keen on Bradley Barcola.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the first point.<\/p>\n

\u201cSecond point, Barcelona are not involved in this story because Mendes is not his agent.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, it has now emerged that Bayern<\/a> are looking at Barcola as a potential replacement for Michael Olise.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid want to sign Olise from Bayern<\/a>, with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez personally keen on the winger.<\/p>\n

Bild journalist Christian Falk has reported that should the Bundesliga champions have to sell Olise, then Vincent Kompany\u2019s side will go for his France international team-mate Barcola.<\/p>\n

Liverpool target Bradley Barcola is on Bayern Munich \u2018shortlist\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Falk wrote on his website, CFBayernInsider<\/a>: \u201cIt is TRUE: Bradley Barcola is one of the names on the shortlist at Bayern Munich if they have to replace Michael Olise.<\/p>\n

\u201cI reported last summer that there was an idea to sign the France international anyway.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven the summer before, the 23-year-old was considered a very interesting player for FC Bayern.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s on the shortlist, but at the moment there is no chance of getting this player for the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s because PSG want to give the winger a new contract, and amounts in the region of \u20ac150m have been floated if the Ligue 1 champions were to sell the player.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, when you look at the situation \u2013 and, as we say, Bayern don\u2019t want to sell Olise this summer \u2013 the club has to think about the Frenchman\u2019s situation if he doesn\u2019t sign a contract with Bayern.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you look at Bradley Barcola\u2019s contract, you see he\u2019s got a year less left on his terms compared to his international teammate (running out in 2028).<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, if he isn\u2019t sold this summer to Liverpool, who are clearly interested, or to another club that can afford the asking price, and he\u2019s still on the market \u2013 and assuming that Bayern are forced to sell Michael Olise \u2013 with one year left on his contract next summer, then PSG have a decision to make.<\/p>\n

\u201cI personally think he\u2019s a player who would fit in perfectly at Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s also partly due to his affordable salary demands (currently earning \u20ac7m-8m gross in Paris, which is half of what Olise earns at Bayern).<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, he\u2019s one to keep an eye out for as a potential replacement in case Michael Olise leaves.\u201d<\/p>\n
