Fresh off his Hot Ones upchuck situation,<\/a> Tom Holland wants to push himself even further. Thankfully he doesn\u2019t mean this gastroenterological sense. In a conversation with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Live With Kelly & Mark<\/a>, Holland says he sees The Odyssey<\/a> and Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> as the end of the first chapter in his career. \u201cI don\u2019t feel like I can get away with playing a boy anymore,\u201d he says, which makes sense, given Peter Parker is kind of the ultimate nephew. To embody Fred Astaire is to have a certain boyishness, sure, but that crazy dancer was a man, through and through. In order to tackle Astaire, Holland told the duo that he plans to do all the dancing in the film himself. \u201cOne of my biggest regrets in my career is after I finished Billy Elliot, I quit dancing,\u201d he explains. He says he might still be able to do the old Billy Elliot choreography, but if he did them in front of the choreographers of the show, they wouldn\u2019t be happy about it. \u201cIt wouldn\u2019t look nearly as good as when I was 12,\u201d he says, which is kind of just how aging works.<\/p>\n We don\u2019t have much other info on this Astaire flick \u2014 whether it\u2019s a biopic or not \u2014 other than Paul King<\/a>, the genius behind the good Paddington movies and Wonka, will be directing, which feels like an apt fit. Here\u2019s a crazy pitch for you. Maybe these two are sick of working together, but Zendaya as Ginger Rogers? Why not? Who cares!
