The Rapture\"tx<\/p>\n

Expect a true rollercoaster ride from the BBC\u2019s new psychological thriller. Gabrielle \u201cGabs\u201d Fox (Ruth Madeley) is a forensic psychologist and new paraplegic who\u2019s recovering from a car crash that killed her husband. When she takes a job in a high-security centre for juvenile patients, she meets teenager Bethany (India Amarteifio), who has apparently murdered her mother \u2013 only she claims she\u2019s innocent and that she has psychic powers. Is she telling the truth, or is she a manipulative psychopath? Episodes 1 and 2 will air consecutively on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th July. <\/p>\n

If you enjoyed the love-hate dynamic between Killing Eve\u2019s Villanelle (Jodie Comer<\/a>) and Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), Furious is for you. The eight-part series introduces us to FBI agent Alice Black (Emmy Rossum), who’s on the hunt for calculating serial killer Catherine (Lola Petticrew). But as the cat-and-mouse chase unfolds, their lives start to intertwine and the separation between good and evil rapidly begins to blur. The perfect Killing Eve replacement. Arriving on Disney+<\/a>on Monday 27th July. <\/p>\n

The prequel to Sky\u2019s mob crime saga, Gomorrah, is coming and we\u2019re following the show\u2019s fearsome Mafia boss Pietro Savastano\u2019s (Luca Lubrano) ascent from troubled kid struggling to survive to the top of Italy\u2019s criminal underworld. The new series kicks off in 1977 Naples when Pietro is poor, hooked on cigarette smuggling and about to enter a new era of heroin abuse. Fortunately, he’s saved (to some extent) from falling over the edge by his ambition to become the next formidable Mafia boss. Arriving on Sky Atlantic and NOW on Tuesday 28th July. <\/p>\n

The Hunting Party \"the<\/p>\n

Another cat-and-mouse chase awaits in series 2 of The Hunting Party. If you’ve got no idea what happened in series 1, well, the brilliantly original plot centres around an explosion that takes place at a prison, resulting in a group of highly volatile serial killers being set free. And it’s not just any prison \u2013 it’s a top secret one. Now, Rebecca “Bex” Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh) and her team are back and the hunt is back on. Series 2 is arriving on U&Alibi on Thursday 30th July. <\/p>\n

Picture this: a British detective solves murder cases against a backdrop of clear, turquoise seas and glorious sunshine. No, we\u2019re not talking about Death in Paradise, but what appears to be a new iteration of it (of sorts) in the form Benidorm is Murder. Dennis Crown (John Hannah) is our lead detective who\u2019s left the UK behind to run a bar in the sunshine\u2026 or so he thinks. When a string of tourists turn up dead, it\u2019s back to business. Arriving on Channel 5 at 9pm on Thursday 30th July.<\/p>\n

Murder in a Small Town\"murder<\/p>\n

After a rather long wait, Netflix has snapped up this popular Canadian series, which follows the escapades of big city detective Karl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland). Having relocated to an idyllic harbour town, he expects a fresh start and an opportunity to reset after the psychological toll that policing has had on him \u2013 but what he gets is quite different. The town has more than its share of secrets and Karl must call upon all the skills that made him a world-class detective to solve the murders that continue to wash up on his shore. Series 1 and 2 are arriving on Netflix on Saturday 1st August. <\/p>\n

Nicole Kidman\u2019s megahit spy series is back. If you\u2019re not familiar, the drama follows an all-female crew of undercover CIA operatives (the Lionesses) who are tasked with infiltrating terrorist organisations using subversive tactics – think befriending the wives and girlfriends of dangerous terrorists. Leads Zoe Salda\u00f1a, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman are all reprising their roles and let\u2019s just say things aren\u2019t going to get any easier any time soon. Expect another brilliantly addictive thrill ride.
