The League Two side saw off interest from England, Scotland and Belgium to reach an agreement with Cian Doyle.<\/p>\n

Bray Wanderers are set to lose a key member of their promotion-chasing squad.<\/p>\n

Cian Doyle has agreed a multi-year deal with Grimsby Town<\/a>, with the League of Ireland<\/a> side to receive an undisclosed fee for the 21-year-old.<\/p>\n

Midfielder Doyle is expected to complete his transfer to the League Two side in the coming days.<\/p>\n

A former Bray Wanderers<\/a> academy prospect, he also had a spell in the Shelbourne<\/a> academy.<\/p>\n

He made six Leinster Senior Cup appearances for the Tolka Park side in 2023 and 2024, before he returned to Bray for the start of the 2025 campaign.<\/p>\n

Doyle made a total of 39 appearances last year in all competitions, while he played another 25 first-team games this year.<\/p>\n

He has scored eight goals in 70 appearances ahead of his move to Grimsby, who are aiming to improve on last season\u2019s seventh placed finish in League Two.<\/p>\n

The Mariners have won the race for Doyle\u2019s signature despite interest from elsewhere in England, Scotland and Belgium.<\/p>\n
