target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">PayNet<\/a> network, enabling DuitNow QR payments and MYR transfers through its app.<\/p>\n<p>Malaysia is the ninth market globally and fifth in Asia Pacific where Wise has gained direct access to a domestic payment system.<\/p>\n<p>Its other connections include Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, Japan, the UK, Europe, Hungary and Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>   <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4eQc2Zy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#13;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1785383714_166_2307-Webinar-Temenos-600x500-ezgif.com-optimize-1.gif\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Wise users in Malaysia can now scan DuitNow QR codes and pay directly through the app.<\/p>\n<p>The feature is being rolled out gradually and is expected to support all DuitNow QR codes nationwide in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Users can also make DuitNow transfers using a recipient\u2019s mobile number or National Registration Identity Card number.<\/p>\n<p>The recipient\u2019s name will appear before confirmation to help prevent misdirected payments.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-55128\" the friction out of the everyday transactions in Malaysia, bringing greater ease and convenience to consumers,\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>said Yen Ting Chiam, Country Manager for Wise Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>Direct access to domestic payment systems reduces Wise\u2019s reliance on intermediaries and can improve costs and transaction speeds.<\/p>\n<p>The company currently processes 77% of all transfers within 20 seconds, twice the proportion recorded five years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Banks and financial institutions using the Wise API will also be able to verify recipient names when setting
