That\u2019s quite a jump from the estimate released four years ago, calculated at \u20ac9.5 billion as the midpoint of a \u201ccredible\u201d cost range of between \u20ac7.16 billion and \u20ac12.25 billion. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">Why such a significant increase? And with plans already approved and with property already purchased for the project by Transport Infrastructure Ireland, how much has already been spent on the transport solution that promises to transform commuting in the capital.
