Despite looking forward to seeing Christy Moore, Pulp and Kneecap <\/a>all year, Mayo man Enda Bourke almost sold his All Together Now<\/a> ticket after the county secured a historic victory<\/a> over Kerry at the 2026 All-Ireland football final. <\/p>\n

The Waterford music festival \u2013 with 35,000 attendees \u2013 is headlined by Brit Pop rockers Pulp, Belfast hip hop trio Kneecap, and electronic music duo Disclosure over the August bank holiday weekend. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was close to selling the ticket now,\u201d said Bourke. \u201cI was looking forward to it all year and then I was like \u2018no way\u2019 that they won.\u201d <\/p>\n

Travelling from Kilkenny on Thursday night, Bourke said: \u201cI was killing myself to come down and get ready for this on Wednesday. I had to miss Belmullet then on Wednesday evening. I was brokenhearted I couldn\u2019t be down there.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if he was match fit for this weekend, the Foxford man replied: \u201cWe\u2019ll see … [I am] not too bad, I might come off the bench yet … I might have to come off early. We\u2019ll see how we get on.\u201d <\/p>\n

It was a balmy 20 degrees when Juliette Coyne kicked off her 25th birthday celebrations at the festival on Friday morning. With a big gold balloon saying \u201cBirthday Queen\u201d tied to her overflowing camping trolley, Coyne said her plans for the weekend are straightforward.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust loads of drinks, sitting down on the grass and enjoying our time here,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m just excited to be off for a few days from work and just relax and not think about everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

The newly-minted 25-year-old lives abroad and is most looking forward to seeing Maribou State, as well as Kneecap and Disclosure. <\/p>\n

Getting to the festival was \u201cseamless\u201d, she said. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t too bad, we just drove up from Dublin so it wasn\u2019t too long.\u201d <\/p>\n

Getting from the car park to the campsite however, was another matter. \u201cAs you can see I\u2019m pretty exhausted,\u201d she said. \u201cI wish I could have a shower now but unfortunately I can\u2019t.\u201d <\/p>\n

Another birthday to be celebrated over the weekend was six-year-old Goldie O\u2019Murray\u2019s, who will be turning seven early next week. She travelled down from Enniskillen with her brother Giles Murray, aged nine, after the siblings received their tickets as a Christmas present from Santa. <\/p>\n

Goldie is looking forward to seeing Kneecap and Giles is keen to eat the food at the festival.<\/p>\n

Molly Power has been attending All Together Now for five of its previous seven iterations. Her advice is to have a plan to find pals, which in her case is to make use of a cow teddy on a pole above her tent. <\/p>\n

\u201cI am most prepared for finding my friends. That would be my biggest tip. I have this little cow \u2013 Mary Moo McDonald with me. She has been to Glastonbury and this is her second All Together Now. She\u2019s on a pole. I do have a Palestinian and an Irish flag to go as her hands [too].\u201d <\/p>\n

Se\u00e1n \u00d3 Callaghan who travelled from Dublin, but was keen to stress that he is from Cork, says there will hopefully be tributes to the late musician Glen Hansard<\/a>, who died earlier this week. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was very sad to hear of his passing.
