We have the theme for next year\u2019s Met Gala<\/a>. According to a press release<\/a>, John Galliano: Horizons will grace the Costume Institute next May. Galliano will become the third designer to have a Met exhibition during their lifetime \u2014 Yves Saint Laurent and Commes des Gar\u00e7ons\u2019 Rei Kawakubo being numbers 1 and 2. The Met is literally teaching the controversy, shining a light not just on Galliano\u2019s design triumphs but his cancelation for antisemitism and his attempts to mount a comeback post-rehab. The show will eschew\u00a0\u201ca conventional narrative of disgrace and redemption\u201d in favor of \u201chow aesthetic achievement, ethical accountability and institutional recognition intersect.\u201d<\/p>\n But what does Galliano have to hold himself accountable for?
