Their latest success has paved the way for another project, although the makers have yet to finalize the script and production schedule. According to Bollywood Hungama, discussions are currently underway, with both exploring multiple ideas before deciding on their next venture.<\/p>\n

Action, romance and comedy among the options<\/p>\n

While confirming the project, Ahmed Khan<\/a> said that several scripts are being considered. The team is evaluating different genres before taking a final call. Sharing details about the discussions, the director reportedly said, \u201cWith ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ becoming a success, we had to work together again. I am so happy that the film has done well, and the cast is happy too. Akshay and I are planning something soon. We are in talks regarding two-three different genres action comedy, romantic action drama, and an out-and-out action movie. Even Akshay has a script that he has told me about. We have to finalise one of our ideas. Once that and the dates are finalised, we\u2019ll announce it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Director dismisses speculation about other projects<\/p>\n

Ahmed Khan also addressed reports claiming that he was preparing a zombie comedy featuring Tiger Shroff<\/a> and Shanaya Kapoor<\/a>. There were also rumours linking him to ‘Welcome 4’. The filmmaker clarified that such reports are inaccurate at present and reiterated that his immediate priority is his next collaboration with Akshay Kumar. Speaking about the speculation, he said, \u201cRumours abound when movies are a hit, but it\u2019s not true as of now. My next is with Akshay. It\u2019s a joy working with someone as professional as him. I like action and can do it on a bigger scale with Akshay. Dance, action, drama it all comes out organically with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Producer yet to be finalized<\/p>\n

Reports have suggested that the upcoming film could be backed either by Firoz A. Nadiadwala or Sajid Nadiadwala. However, Ahmed Khan chose not to reveal any production details. When asked about the producer, the director kept his response brief. He said, \u201cDono se dosti hai. They love Akshay and me.\u201d<\/p>\n
