Beast of Reincarnation, Game Freak\u2019s action RPG that\u2019s set to release on August 4 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S\/X, and Steam, has somehow already leaked online and is reportedly being played by pirates as we speak.<\/p>\n
This news comes via multiple piracy-centric sources, including the DODI Repacks Discord server and both the r\/Piracy and r\/PiratedGames subreddits. Exactly how repackers have managed to get their hands on Game Freak\u2019s upcoming title three days before its official release is currently unconfirmed, though some have suggested it\u2019s related to preloading the game on Steam.<\/p>\n
On the plus side, multiple pirates who have allegedly played Beast of Reincarnation have reported that it runs pretty smoothly. One such report comes from a user playing the game on the ROG Ally X handheld, who stated, \u201cIntro area runs at around 30-40fps medium settings at 1080p taau performance. Didnt drop below 30fps thus far. No shader compilation at the start but I didn\u2019t encounter any stutters so far hmm. And it looks great! Good soundtrack too.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, another user wasn\u2019t quite as impressed with the performance on PC: \u201cGame is running like garbage. 70-80fps avg with dlss ultra quality at 4k max settings with a 9800x3d and 5070ti. No frame gen option.\u201d<\/p>\n
Personally, I think a stable 60FPS and 4K sounds pretty good, but whatever. Also, probably shouldn\u2019t put too much stock in what people think of its performance at this stage, considering this is a pirated copy we\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n
Beast of Reincarnation isn\u2019t the only high-profile title that\u2019s made its way into pirates\u2019 hands before being released this year. Several other high-profile AAA titles, including the likes of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Forza Horizon 6, and Subnautica 2, have all been cracked and repacked before their official release dates.<\/p>\n
