The group\u2019s fans, collectively known as ARMY, are known to support the act they love not only by streaming its songs and watching its music videos, but also by purchasing albums and individual tracks in huge numbers.<\/p>\n<p>That devotion is on display again on the Billboard charts, as BTS returns to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The tally ranks the bestselling tracks of any style in the United States, looking only at platforms like Amazon and iTunes. As the superstars reclaim the top spot, they tie one of the most successful artists in American history and move higher on an important all-time list.<\/p>\n<p>BTS Returns to No. 1 on the Sales Chart<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"color-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GEk4jHwfFTA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-ga-track=\"ExternalLink:https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GEk4jHwfFTA\" aria-label=\"\u201cNormal\u201d\">\u201cNormal\u201d<\/a> reenters the <a class=\"color-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-ga-track=\"ExternalLink:https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\/\" aria-label=\"Digital Song Sales chart\">Digital Song Sales chart<\/a> this week at No. 1. This frame is only the single\u2019s second week on the purchase-focused roster, and it immediately breaks back in at the highest possible position.<\/p>\n<p>The track was recently selected as the second official single from Arirang, following \u201cSwim.\u201d A new music video, paired with the group\u2019s decision to focus its attention on \u201cNormal,\u201d encouraged fans to purchase the tune, transforming it into the bestselling cut in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>BTS Scores Its Fifteenth Sales No. 1<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNormal\u201d becomes BTS\u2019s fifteenth No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The group is only the fourth act to reach that milestone.<\/p>\n<p>The septet is now tied with Drake, who has also accumulated 15 leaders on the ranking. She has earned 32 champions \u2013 more than twice as many as either act. That figure was easily enough to guarantee BTS another No. 1.<\/p>\n<p>The runner-up this time around, \u201cDai Dai\u201d by Shakira and Burna Boy, sold a little fewer than 7,200 copies. The World Cup anthem managed only slightly more than one-third of the total that \u201cNormal\u201d managed. <\/p>\n<p>BTS\u2019s \u201cNormal\u201d Reaches New Peaks on Two Charts<\/p>\n<p>An enormous sales spike helps \u201cNormal\u201d return to multiple additional rankings. In addition to its dominating frame on the Digital Song Sales chart, the single also reenters the Billboard Global 200 at No. 4 and the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 33. Both positions mark new peaks for \u201cNormal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BTS Nearly Scores Another Global No. 1<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNormal\u201d comes even closer to leading Billboard Global Excl. U.S., missing out on leading by just one spot. The song rockets from No. 156 all the way to a new high of No. 2 \u2013 an improvement of more than 150 spaces in only one frame. Unlike the Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global Excl. U.S. removes consumption from the U.S., and instead focuses entirely on sales and streaming activity gathered throughout the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>BTS nearly collects its record-extending ninth No. 1 on the ranking, but \u201cNormal\u201d is blocked by <a class=\"color-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fcnDmrtj6Sk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-ga-track=\"ExternalLink:https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fcnDmrtj6Sk\" aria-label=\"\u201cDai Dai.\u201d\">\u201cDai Dai.\u201d<\/a> Shakira and Burna Boy continue to rule the worldwide tally as BTS settles directly behind them in the runner-up position.
