Collins said she has always remained professional about her time on the show<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
She expressed frustration over claims that other former co-hosts were invited back while she has not heard from the show<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Michelle Collins<\/a> has called out The View<\/a> after claiming she was not asked back for the show’s 30th season.<\/p>\n Collins,\u00a045, whose time on the show ended in 2016<\/a>\u00a0after\u00a0serving as a co-host for one season<\/a>, discussed the show’s upcoming anniversary after Rosie O’Donnell<\/a>, 64, claimed on The Tangle with Kyle Ridley<\/a> podcast that she was asked back as a guest.<\/p>\n In a video posted on Instagram<\/a> on Monday, Aug. 3, Collins said she was currently in Milan, Italy, and had just learned that O’Donnell said during the podcast appearance that “she heard all the co-hosts from The View were being asked back for the 30th season.”<\/p>\n “Now that was news to me, maybe because I’m traveling so much, my invite somehow got lost,” she said. “But I’ve not heard from anyone from the show.”<\/p>\n Collins said she “found that really interesting” because she has “always behaved very professionally about the show.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, a representative for O’Donnell told <\/a>Entertainment Weekly<\/a> that “there was a mention of inviting some of the hosts back to The View as a guest during season 30, [but] there has not been a formal ask from the show at this time.”<\/p>\n Michelle Collins on ‘The View’ in October 2015 “I was number 15 back in 2015, despite what they’ll have you believe; I was named a co-host,” Collins said, noting that she “never talked s–t” about the show after being “unceremoniously let go” and “never went public with anything because I thought that was professional. “<\/p>\n “But now I’m starting to think maybe that was dumb.
