This is the holding position.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"17.3\">Take a deep breath in through nose for 5 seconds, feeling lungs expand through mid and lower back. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"17.4\">Hold breath for 2 seconds.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"17.5\">Exhale slowly through mouth for 5 seconds. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"17.6\">Hold the exhale for 2 seconds. Keep shoulders relaxed the entire time.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"17.7\">Perform 2-3 sets of 5-8 breaths with a short rest between sets. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>2. (They serve as a \u201cpressure sensor\u201d to ensure a natural curve in lumbar spine.)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"22.2\">To support neck, gently clench jaw and press tongue into the roof of mouth. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"22.3\">Lift elbows a couple of inches off the floor. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"22.4\">While engaging core and using the base of ribcage as a pivot point, lift head and rib cage just slightly up off the floor.
