{"id":623206,"date":"2026-08-06T08:22:22","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T08:22:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/623206\/"},"modified":"2026-08-06T08:22:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T08:22:22","slug":"state-pays-deloitte-e10-45m-for-advice-on-managing-migrant-response-and-costs-the-irish-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/623206\/","title":{"rendered":"State pays Deloitte \u20ac10.45m for advice on managing migrant response and costs \u2013 The Irish Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Deloitte Ireland has earned \u20ac10.45 million in fees from the State since the start of last year providing consultancy services on the response to the international protection (IP) accommodation crisis and the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">In the three months to the end of June alone, the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration paid Deloitte Ireland LLP \u20ac2.45 million, new figures show. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The payment to the professional services firm for the second quarter breaks down between \u20ac2.07 million under the heading of international protection accommodation and related costs, and a further \u20ac378,687 on Ukrainian accommodation and other costs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The figures show that payments to Deloitte Ireland LLP from the Department of Integration and the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration total \u20ac10.45 million since January last year.
