Once it starts to feel easier, try performing this move while standing for a greater challenge.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>5. Kneeling Plantar Fascia StretchWhat it works: <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"35\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">This move improves foot flexibility, helping to ease aches in the plantar fascia or the band of tissue that runs across the bottom of the foot, from the heel bone to the toes.<\/p>\n<p>How to do it: <\/p>\n<ol data-node-id=\"37\" class=\"css-12c7ta7 emevuu60\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"37.0\">Kneel on the floor with toes tucked under; the balls of feet and toes should both be against the ground. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"37.1\">Keeping hands on thighs or the floor for support, sit hips back toward heels until you feel a gentle stretch along the bottom of feet and toes. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"37.2\">Hold for 30 seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>6. Heel Raises With BallWhat it works: <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"50\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">Your calf strength also plays a role in how your feet feel. This move strengthens them, helping to relieve tension.<\/p>\n<p>How to do it: <\/p>\n<ol data-node-id=\"52\" class=\"css-12c7ta7 emevuu60\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"52.0\">Stand and place a tennis or small yoga ball (the kind you use for self-massage) between heels (as if heels are hugging it). <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:decimal;\" data-node-id=\"52.1\">Keeping toes pointed forward, lightly squeeze the ball between heels and come up onto forefoot.
