\n\tIt\u2019s a love sensation, indeed, with the first-ever collaborative release from pop divas Madonna<\/a> and Kylie Minogue<\/a>. The pair on Thursday (Aug. 6) released the \u201cLove Sensation (Afterhours Radio Edit)\u201d and Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix),\u201d two new versions of \u201cLove Sensation\u201d from Madonna\u2019s July album Confessions II.<\/p>\n

\n\tHelmed by Stuart Price, who also produced the album, the remixes present two different versions of the song, with the \u201cAfterhours Radio Edit\u201d maintaining many elements of the original while adding Minogue\u2019s take on the second verse, for which she perfectly matches and compliments Madonna\u2019s vocal tone. This edit comes in at three minutes and 35 seconds, seven seconds shorter than the original. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cAfterhours Mix,\u201d meanwhile, is a significant departure from the original, with Price creating a steamy, thumping build before introducing Madonna\u2019s vocals, adding an extended, churning middle section and then layering in vocals from Minogue. The song forays into lush, celestial territory via repeated vocal samples that Price gives heft to by adding increasingly urgent percussion, until the whole thing breaks wide open into pop paradise at the five minute, 15 second mark. This one has a total run time of six minutes and 14 seconds.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project was announced earlier this week after Madonna and Minogue performed together during WorldPride Amsterdam 2026. Here, Madonna performed<\/a> a 30-minute set at Amsterdam\u2019s AFAS Live that featured a rare live collaboration with the Australian pop superstar.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe collaboration comes after \u201cLove Sensation\u201d reached No.1 on Dance Airplay<\/a> last week, clocking another victory for the massive album, which debuted at No. 1<\/a> on the Hot 100 in July. The achievement made Madonna the first act with a No. 1 album in the 2020s and three other decades.<\/p>\n
