{"id":626084,"date":"2026-08-07T22:08:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T22:08:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/626084\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T22:08:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T22:08:13","slug":"hallmark-sets-release-date-for-christmas-movie-filmed-in-asheville-wral-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/626084\/","title":{"rendered":"Hallmark sets release date for Christmas movie filmed in Asheville :: WRAL.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new Hallmark Christmas movie filmed at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville will premiere December 5, the network announced.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A Grand Biltmore Christmas&#8221; will air on Hallmark Channel as part of the network&#8217;s annual &#8220;Countdown to Christmas&#8221; lineup and will be available for streaming December 6 on Hallmark+.<\/p>\n<p>The movie stars Holland Roden, Niall Matter, Andie MacDowell and Jonathan Frakes.<\/p>\n<p>The plot begins on Christmas Eve in 1895, when 13-year-old Elizabeth meets Michael, a Biltmore House trespasser. Elizabeth helps Michael avoid getting caught, but he mysteriously disappears. <\/p>\n<p>Twenty years later, Elizabeth returns to Biltmore and to her surprise, sees Michael again at a Christmas gala. She discovers he is a tourist from present day who traveled back in time using a magical hourglass in Biltmore&#8217;s library.
