SoundHound AI Inc. (SOUN<\/a>, Financials<\/a>), the voice AI company, jumped more than 26% in premarket trading<\/a> after a better-than-expected quarter and a stronger full-year outlook gave investors fresh reason to believe its growth story is gaining traction. <\/p>\n

Revenue was around $61.9 million, up approximately 45% year-over-year, and the company reported an adjusted loss of $0.02 per share.The most crucial thing, however, was SoundHound’s lifting of its 2026 revenue guidance to $230 million-$260 million. That’s important because the firm is trying to prove it can grow well beyond its car voice assistant roots. SoundHound is now expanding more into restaurants, customer service, healthcare and other enterprise areas.The larger challenge for investors has been whether all that AI enthusiasm can be turned into a real, enduring business. Those recent figures make that case a little easier to swallow. <\/p>\n

SoundHound is currently losing money, so profitability is still a key obstacle. But the better growth and higher outlook show the business is headed in the right direction.
