The Pixel Watch 5 launches in a few days, and ahead of its unveiling a leak has revealed a special edition will also be available. Called the Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Edition, it will have a special strap made for workouts.<\/p>\n

Google’s next Made by Google event is in a few days, and among the new products that will be announced is the Pixel Watch 5<\/a>. While the smartwatch already leaked multiple times<\/a>, and Google itself has released a teaser video<\/a> confirming its launch, a new leak has surfaced revealing there will be a special edition. <\/p>\n

According to a report by My Mobiles, in partnership with OnLeaks, there will be a Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Special Edition alongside the standard version. The leak includes renders of the smartwatch and how much it will cost in Europe.<\/p>\n

\tThe Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Edition has a similar band to the one that ships with the Fitbit Air Stephen Curry Edition.<\/p>\n

The Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Edition is a continuation of the partnership between Google and the basketball star. Earlier this year, when Google launched the Fitbit Air<\/a>, it also released a Stephen Curry Special Edition of the fitness tracker (available on Amazon for $129.99<\/a>) that’s a bit more expensive than the standard edition priced at $99.99. <\/p>\n

The Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Edition is the 45mm LTE version of the watch but with a similar fabric band as the one used for the Fitbit Air Special Edition Stephen Curry. And like the band on the Fitbit Air, it has the NBA champion’s name and the hashtag #LockIn printed on it.<\/p>\n

Leaked promotional materials for the watch says that the band has a water-repellent coating that makes it suitable for workouts. However, the fine print for the document says that water-repellent coating isn’t permanent and \u201cmay diminish or be completely removed over time\u201d. It is also stated that this version will not be available in all countries. <\/p>\n

The\u00a0Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Edition is reported to cost\u00a0\u20ac549,\u00a0\u20ac30 more than the regular edition of the 45mm LTE model.
