The set launches with 295,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending Aug. 6, marking the singer-songwriter\u2019s biggest week by units in the 2020s. The set also bows with Grande\u2019s biggest week by pure album sales in more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWith a seventh No. 1 on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/t\/billboard-200\/\" id=\"auto-tag_billboard-200\" data-tag=\"billboard-200\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Billboard 200<\/a>, Grande ties for the fifth-most leaders among solo women. Taylor Swift leads with 15, followed by Barbra Streisand (11), Madonna (10), Beyonc\u00e9 (eight) and Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga and Grande (seven each), dating to the chart\u2019s start as a regularly published ranking in 1956.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGrande previously led with Eternal Sunshine (No. 1 for three weeks in 2024), Positions (two, 2020), Thank U, Next (two, 2019), Sweetener (one, 2018), My Everything (one, 2014) and Yours Truly (2013). Further, the new album marks the entertainer\u2019s 10th top 10 on the chart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid\/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new Aug. 15, 2026-dated chart will be posted in full on\u00a0Billboard\u2018s website on Aug. 11. For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X and Instagram.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOf petal\u2019s 295,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week, album sales comprise 168,000 (Grande\u2019s second-largest sales week ever \u2014 it debuts at No. 1 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 126,000 (equaling 128.83 million on-demand official streams of the set\u2019s songs \u2014 it also debuts at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums) and 1,000 TEA units.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGrande\u2019s only larger album sales week was registered when My Everything debuted with 169,000 sold in 2014.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe new set was released in its first week across more than 10 digital download and streaming variants (including six with assorted bonus tracks including live cuts, voice notes, a cappellas and instrumentals), 10 vinyl variants (including a signed edition), five CD variants (including a signed edition) and two cassettes. Its vinyl sales totaled 96,000 for the week \u2014 Grande\u2019s best week on vinyl ever, and 2026\u2019s fifth-largest week on vinyl overall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGrande\u2019s new album was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/ariana-grande-petal-album-details-everything-we-know\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> on April 28 and preceded by her ninth No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart: \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me,\u201d which debuted atop the list dated June 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGrande is in the midst of her The Eternal Sunshine Tour, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/ariana-grande-eternal-sunshine-tour-best-moments-recap\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">launched on June 6<\/a> and continues through Sept. 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Nos. 2-7 titles on the latest Billboard 200 are all former No. 1s. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/morgan-wallen\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Morgan Wallen<\/a>\u2019s I\u2019m the Problem falls 1-2 (75,000 equivalent album units, down 6%) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/olivia-rodrigo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Olivia Rodrigo<\/a>\u2019s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love dips 2-3 (74,000, down 7%). The next four titles are all non-movers for the week. Ella Langley\u2019s Dandelion is No. 4 (72,000, down 3%), Noah Kahan\u2019s The Great Divide is No. 5 (59,000, down 5%), Drake\u2019s ICEMAN is No. 6 (48,000, down 10%), and Wallen\u2019s One Thing at a Time is No. 7 (38,000, down 4%).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOlivia Dean\u2019s The Art of Loving is up a spot to No. 8 (37,000 equivalent album units, up 1%), Michael Jackson\u2019s former No. 1 Thriller falls 8-9 (36,000, down 7%), and Kahan\u2019s Stick Season is steady at No. 10 (35,000, up less than 1%).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tLuminate, the independent data provider to the\u00a0Billboard\u00a0charts, completes a thorough review of all data submissions used in compiling the weekly chart rankings.
