{"id":629814,"date":"2026-08-10T08:29:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T08:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/629814\/"},"modified":"2026-08-10T08:29:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T08:29:17","slug":"liverpool-romano-reveals-fsg-reaction-after-psg-respond-to-indicated-proposal-for-bradley-barcola","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/629814\/","title":{"rendered":"Liverpool: Romano reveals FSG reaction after PSG respond to \u2018indicated proposal\u2019 for Bradley Barcola"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fabrizio Romano has reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/liverpool\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool<\/a> remain in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola before the summer transfer window closes.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian journalist has dismissed reports that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/liverpool-reach-agreement-psg-sign-bradley-barcola-contract-sealed\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool have made an official bid for Barcola<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/fabrizio-romano\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Romano<\/a><\/strong>, Liverpool have held club-to-club talks with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/psg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PSG<\/a><\/strong> over a deal for the France international winger.<\/p>\n<p>During those talks, the Premier League club \u201cindicated! how much they were planning to offer for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/bradley-barcola\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Barcola<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>PSG told <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/liverpool\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool<\/a><\/strong> that they need to pay more for the winger, who won Ligue 1 and the Champions League with the Parisian club last season.<\/p>\n<p>According to Romano, that has not deterred Liverpool owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG), from continuing their pursuit of the 23-year-old.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/transfer-window-summer-2026-rumours-ranked\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Transfer rumour ranking: Villa leading Man Utd in chase for Real star, Arsenal eye Vinicius alternative<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Liverpool remain in talks with PSG over Bradley Barcola<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Romano said on his <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KQ1NeEKNpqo\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube channel<\/a>: \u201cOn Bradley Barcola, my understanding is that Liverpool remain in active talks in daily talks with Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, the conversations are ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen financially there is still no agreement, so we need to be patient, but personal terms, not an issue at all, and Liverpool remain in active talks with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLiverpool know that they need to improve their opening conversations, indicated proposal, because from my information, Liverpool didn\u2019t send an official bid to Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were reports of Liverpool sending an official bid and then telling PSG they don\u2019t have the money \u2013 I am told that this is not the case.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE<a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/summer-transfer-window-2026-most-expensive-players-biggest-deals\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">: The top 20 biggest transfers of the summer 2026 window\u2026<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLiverpool started official club-to-club talks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey indicated some numbers, still far away from what Paris Saint-Germain want.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is from the start of last week, so some time ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow Liverpool remain in conversations with PSG.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, if PSG can land Ferran Torres after Akliouche and eventually also Mika Godts, obviously, it\u2019s going to be a lot of strikers, and so this could facilitate the move of Bradley Barcola to Liverpool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool may be determined to sign Barcola, but the Reds\u2019 former striker, Michael Owen, believes that the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/wow-michael-owen-advises-liverpool-walk-away-signing-bradley-barcola-one-reason\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Merseyside outfit should abandon their pursuit of the PSG winger<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Owen said last week regarding PSG\u2019s demands for Barcola: \u201cThat sounds extortionate, doesn\u2019t it?
