{"id":631042,"date":"2026-08-11T04:59:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T04:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/631042\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T04:59:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T04:59:12","slug":"vingroups-vinspace-signs-spacex-contract-for-satellite-missions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/631042\/","title":{"rendered":"Vingroup&#8217;s VinSpace signs SpaceX contract for satellite missions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Published Tue, Aug 11, 2026 \u00b7 12:06 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words mb-4 md:mb-6\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-component\">[HANOI] VinSpace, a unit of <a class=\"text-verticals-btblue underline hover:text-blue-500\" data-testid=\"article-annotation-link-component\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstimes.com.sg\/international\/asean\/vietnams-stock-market-rally-has-one-name-behind-it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup<\/a>, has signed a launch contract with SpaceX for its satellite missions, the company said on Tuesday (Aug 11).<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words mb-4 md:mb-6\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-component\">VinSpace\u2019s satellites will launch on a SpaceX Transporter rideshare mission in 2027, joining multiple other customers on a shared launch, it said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words mb-4 md:mb-6\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-component\">VinSpace handles the research, development, manufacturing and in-orbit operation of its satellites.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words mb-4 md:mb-6\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-component\">The company said the project supports its strategy aimed at building capabilities across the space value chain, including satellite design and manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing, launch management, operations and data services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words mb-4 md:mb-6\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-component\">The missions are expected to support in-orbit technology testing, satellite capability development, international collaboration, and future commercial applications, VinSpace said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words mb-4 md:mb-6 inline-block\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-component\">VinSpace was founded in November 2025, with an initial capital of 300 billion dong (US$11.4 million).
