{"id":631156,"date":"2026-08-11T06:22:23","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T06:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/631156\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T06:22:23","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T06:22:23","slug":"crowdstrike-palo-alto-hit-records-after-black-hat-cyber-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/631156\/","title":{"rendered":"CrowdStrike, Palo Alto hit records after Black Hat cyber conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jonathan Raa | Nurphoto | Getty Images<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/cybersecurity\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cybersecurity<\/a> stocks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/CRWD\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CrowdStrike<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/PANW\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Palo Alto Networks<\/a> jumped more than 5% to new highs on Monday on renewed demand for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/ai-effect\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> security tools following the industry&#8217;s annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/08\/08\/hugging-face-ai-hack-cybersecurity-black-hat.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Black Hat<\/a> conference in Las Vegas. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The single most consistent theme across our conversations \u2014 partners, vendors, and customers alike \u2014 was that AI agents have fundamentally changed the threat landscape,&#8221; analysts at BTIG wrote in a note to clients.<\/p>\n<p>While AI agents have become the predominant attack threat and the environment is &#8220;meaningfully worse,&#8221; deployment and AI security tools are only in the &#8220;early innings,&#8221; they added.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses are turning to cybersecurity companies for new agentic tools to fend off adversaries in a hyper-accelerated threat landscape fueled by new cyber models. Executives and potential customers gathered in Las Vegas last week in search of answers and ways to secure systems from rogue AI agents.<\/p>\n<p>BTIG lifted its price target on Palo Alto to $380 a share, reflecting about 4% upside from Friday&#8217;s close.
