Whenever the Canadian hip-hop musician shares another project, it is big news, as the set is almost certain to debut at No. 1 in America and potentially help Drake make history in several ways.

When Iceman arrived, Drake managed something he had never tried before: he released three complete albums at the same time. Iceman debuted at No. 1 across the Billboard rankings, while Maid of Honour and Habibti came in right behind it in many cases.

In the months since it dropped, Iceman and its many singles have proved to be not just flashes in the pan, but sturdy wins for the Grammy champion. As Iceman holds atop various rosters again, including the most competitive for hip-hop and R&B collections, it moves up within Drake’s discography and comes close to tying his all-time record.

Drake’s Iceman Holds at No. 1

Iceman is steady at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart this week. The project holds in first place after recently returning to the summit when Future’s The Real Me replaced it for one frame, becoming the first set to topple Iceman since it opened at the summit.

The ranking – one of the most competitive for albums in the U.S. in one style – details the most-consumed full-lengths and EPs that Billboard classifies as R&B, rap or hip-hop.

Drake Ties His Own Second-Longest Reign

As of this frame, Iceman has now spent 11 weeks atop the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It is now tied as Drake’s second-longest-running ruler. Iceman matches For All the Dogs, which kicked off its time at the summit in October 2023 and also earned 11 periods in charge.

Drake’s Iceman Passes Certified Lover Boy

Last week, Iceman was matched with Certified Lover Boy, which stopped ruling after an even 10 frames. Now, Drake’s newest champion moves past that favorite.

Iceman needs only one more turn at the helm before it ties Drake’s longest run at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Take Care has collected an even dozen stints in first place after launching there nearly a decade and a half ago, in December 2011.

Since then, Take Care has proved to be Drake’s most enduring release. It recently passed a decade on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums ranking, becoming his first project to reach that milestone.

Drake Rules Two Album Charts with Iceman

Drake rules two album rosters in the United States this week. Iceman is also comfortable at No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart, just as is the case on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums tally. The project has spent 12 frames on both genre-specific lists and has only stepped aside from the loftiest spot for one moment in both cases.

Drake’s Iceman Remains a Top 10 Smash Elsewhere

Iceman also lives on two additional Billboard charts this week, and it’s a top 10 win on the pair of rosters. The album sits at No. 6 on both the Billboard 200 and the Top Streaming Albums ranking. It holds in that position on the Billboard 200 – the main roster of the most-consumed albums in the United States – while slipping one peg to sixth place on the streaming-focused tally.

Drake Fills More Than One-Fifth of One Chart

Drake fills an incredible 11 spaces on this week’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, controlling more than one-fifth of the entire 50-position roster. He even bookends the ranking. Iceman leads the charge at No. 1, while Nothing Was the Same reenters in last place at No. 50.

Here are all of Drake’s appearances on this week’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart:

No. 1 — Iceman

No. 9 — Take Care

No. 12 — Views

No. 19 — Habibti

No. 20 — Scorpion

No. 26 — Certified Lover Boy

No. 27 — Thank Me Later

No. 32 — Some Sexy Songs 4 U with PartyNextDoor

No. 37 — For All the Dogs

No. 44 — More Life

No. 50 — Nothing Was the Same

ForbesDrake’s Latest Blockbuster Ties As One Of His Longest-Charting No. 1sBy Hugh McIntyre

Drake’s ‘Iceman’ is in charge of Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for an eleventh frame, tying as his…

[264
1447,222912,222911,11668,223608,223607,234822,234821,267893,223604,18,117,19,17,337
post-633729","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-music","tag-drake","tag-drake-billboard","tag-drake-charts","tag-drake-iceman","tag-drake-iceman-billboard","tag-drake-iceman-charts","tag-drake-iceman-sales","tag-drake-number-one-albums","tag-drake-top-rb-hip-hop-albums","tag-drake-weeks-number-one","tag-eire","tag-entertainment","tag-ie","tag-ireland","tag-music
["GET
