SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The public can weigh in on PeaceHealth’s plan to build a new inpatient psychiatric hospital in Springfield.<\/p>\n
A meeting is set for Sept. 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Springfield Utility Board boardroom at 223 A Street, Suite F. PeaceHealth will summarize its certificate of need application for the hospital, which would be built on International Way.<\/p>\n
After the presentation, people can share their thoughts on the project. The certificate of need program aims to provide access to quality health care at a reasonable cost and control health care spending.<\/p>\n
The meeting is open to anyone who wants to attend.
