\n\tKeanu Reeves<\/a> brought his band Dogstar<\/a> to The Tonight Show<\/a> to perform their anthemic song \u201cJoy.\u201d The group, which also includes Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse, offered a moody rendition of the rock number, off their 2026 LP All in Now<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tAll In Now,\u00a0released in May, marked the group\u2019s second LP since reforming in 2023 after a two-decade break. Reeves and his Dogstar bandmates\u00a0reunited in 2023<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0their first shows since 2002<\/a>, which they quickly followed up with\u00a0Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, their first new album since 2000\u2019s\u00a0Happy Ending.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Reeves is still focused on his acting career, he was eager to rejoin his Dogstar bandmates in the studio with producer Nick Launay and continue their reunion last year. \u201cWe couldn\u2019t fucking\u00a0wait,\u201d Reeves said in a statement ahead of the album\u2019s release. \u201cPersonally, I\u00a0loved\u00a0it all.\u00a0For me, the attitude was like, \u2018Let\u2019s work hard and let\u2019s GO.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe told the Los Angeles Times<\/a> recently that he enjoys the shared experience of making an album. \u201cYou get being together, you get the mixing board, you get the loud headphones, you get your producer there looking at you \u2014\u00a0listening\u00a0to you,\u201d Reeves said. \u201cIt\u2019s not carved up in sections \u2014 you\u2019re sharing an experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDogstar is currently on tour in North America in support of the album. The trek continues tonight in Atlantic City and continues through Sept. 3, when it wraps in Salt Lake City. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Reeves starred as an angel in Good Fortune<\/a>, appearing alongside Seth Rogen and Aziz Ansari. Earlier this year, he appeared in Jonah Hill\u2019s comedy film Outcome.
