According to preliminary data from Nielsen, \u201cLioness\u201d Season 2 was the second-most-watched streaming original series in the U.S. during the week of Aug. 2-8. It was also the No. 1 buzziest streaming drama between Aug. 2 and Aug. 4, per Social Content Ratings, drumming up 6.9 million views on social media.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/paramount-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_paramount-2\" data-tag=\"paramount-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paramount+<\/a>, \u201cLioness\u201d streams on SkyShowtime in Europe, where Season 3 also outperformed both previous seasons and is on track to land as one of the top five returning premieres ever.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThis adds to a string of strong ratings for Taylor Sheridan-produced series on Paramount+; <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/the-madison-ratings-paramount-plus-1236701123\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cThe Madison\u201d hit 8 million views in 10 days<\/a> in March, and <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/dutton-ranch-ratings-12-9-million-views-paramount-1236759018\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cDutton Ranch\u201d hit 12.9 million views in seven days in May<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cLioness\u201d stars Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman as CIA officers. Per the official logline for Season 3, \u201cJoe (Salda\u00f1a) walks the line between duty and home as unseen forces circle her world. Patterns appear where they shouldn\u2019t, names vanish and paths rearrange. Guided by Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Westfield (Michael Kelly), Joe confronts enemies operating in the shadows, leaving her to reckon with a war that now reaches into every part of her life.\u201d The cast also includes Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin H\u00e9bert, Jonah Wharton, Hannah Love Lanier, Thad Luckinbill, Ian Bohen and Morgan Freeman.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTaylor Sheridan executive produces \u201cLioness\u201d with David C.
