Aldi is launching a new batch of Special Buy<\/a> offers next week, and one standout item coming to stores is a ‘stylish’ furniture item that could be easily compared to a pricer ‘lookalike’ version at B&Q. Many Aldi<\/a> shoppers enjoy browsing through the supermarket<\/a>‘s famous ‘Middle Aisle<\/a>‘ as it regularly provides various homeware items at affordable prices.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, August 20, shoppers will be able to get their hands on a new side table that comes with a bonus feature the B&Q version does not have. The table is part of Aldi’s new and upcoming ‘Student Home’ range, as many university<\/a> students are set to start classes again in September, and those living in dorms will require everyday essentials.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, sticking to a budget is a top priority for many students. Aldi’s new Sohl <\/a>Wireless Charging Table<\/a> costs \u00a324.99, which, compared to B&Q’s similar \u00a372.99 Homescapes Modern Side Table<\/a>, is a \u00a348 saving.<\/p>\n

In the product description, Aldi says: “A stylish table with a built in wireless charging pad, keeping your devices powered and your space clutter free.” The store adds: “Compact size. Hidden storage spaces. Choose from wooden or wooden and black designs.”<\/p>\n

On the box, the packaging for the table reads: “FSC certificated wood material. No external power adapter is included. You must supply a compatible USB power adapter or use a powered USB port. Max load capacity: 10kg.”<\/p>\n

At a glance, Aldi’s \u00a324.99 table looks similar to B&Q’s \u00a372.99 version. Both feature a light brown wooden design, a round cabinet, sliding doors and four legs.<\/p>\n

However, B&Q’s version is made from a different material, costs more, and doesn’t include the wireless charging option. On B&Q’s website, the product description reads: “Homescapes’ stylish round cabinet is the perfect addition to any room in your home. With its clean modern design, sliding doors, and storage space inside, it serves well as a bedside table or living room end table.<\/p>\n

“Crafted from a mix of pinewood, MDF and ash veneer, it has a natural ash colour that will complement a variety of interior styles. Measuring 40cm wide and deep with a height of 45cm, it offers ample storage without taking up too much space. Its easy assembly means you’ll be enjoying its functionality in no time. Aldi will also be bringing out three Kirkton House LED Plants<\/a> for \u00a37.99 each. “A realistic artificial potted plant with built-in LED lighting for a warm, decorative glow. Perfect for adding instant style and ambience with zero upkeep”, the supermarket said.<\/p>\n

For shoppers interested in household gadgets, Aldi will be bringing out an Ambiano <\/a>Vacuum Cleaner Robot<\/a> for \u00a369.99. Aldi says: “Discover smart cleaning with our multifunctional robot vacuum!<\/p>\n
