Two years after her breakout in \u201cBring It On: All or Nothing,\u201d a 19-year-old Hayden Panettiere used her rising star power to buy a home<\/a> in the Hollywood Hills for herself and her mother, Lesley Vogel \u2014 a nest for the pair during one of the most successful stretches of the young actress\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

Now, nearly two decades later, that home is gone. <\/p>\n

The house, at 7640 Curson Terrace, has been demolished, and the half-acre lot is on the market for $6.99 million, marketed not as a home but as a fully entitled development opportunity for someone else\u2019s dream mansion, The Post has learned.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Panettiere died Sunday<\/a> at the age of 36. She was found unresponsive at the Judson Mill Lofts apartment complex<\/a> in Greenville, South Carolina, where police and EMS responded around 1:51 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive female<\/a>. <\/a>Despite attempts to resuscitate her, she was pronounced dead at the scene less than an hour later.<\/p>\n

Police said the preliminary investigation has not indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances, and the Greenville County Coroner\u2019s Office was scheduled to perform an autopsy Monday to determine the official cause and manner of death.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In happier times, Panettiere and Vogel paid $2.63 million for the property in March 2008, property records show. <\/p>\n

The pair briefly listed the home for rent \u2014 first at $9,500 a month in August 2009, later dropped to $8,000 \u2014 before pulling the listing that September and holding onto the house themselves, records show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Panettiere owned the property through her star-making run as cheerleader-turned-superhero Claire Bennet on NBC\u2019s \u201cHeroes\u201d and her starring role in the 2009 comedy \u201cI Love You, Beth Cooper,\u201d before selling it in February 2014 for $3.075 million \u2014 more than $400,000 above its final asking price of $5.79 million that August.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom house spanned 3,120 square feet and offered 180-degree views from downtown LA to the ocean, along with a pool, fireplaces, and an open floor plan. SplashNews.com<\/p>\n

The buyer, an LLC called Thrasher NK, kicked off more than a decade of ownership changes and financing deals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The property changed hands again in October 2016, selling for $5.5 million to an entity called Curson NK LLC, which financed the purchase through 7640 Curson LLC.\u00a0By 2023, that entity had defaulted on more than $12 million in debt tied to the property. A notice of default for $12.82 million followed in January 2024, and by July of that year, the property had been seized in foreclosure, with a trustee\u2019s deed transferring it to Knight Development Group LLC for $13.45 million.<\/p>\n

At some point after the foreclosure, the house Panettiere and her mother once shared was torn down. The current listing touts an approved, \u201cReady-to-Issue\u201d plan for a roughly 14,705-square-foot contemporary estate \u2014 complete with a cantilevered infinity pool, a private wellness spa, a rooftop sky terrace and an entertainment lounge \u2014 designed by Roman James Design with structural engineering by KOR Engineering.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Panettiere\u2019s many fans continue feeling the shock and sadness surrounding the star\u2019s abrupt death.<\/p>\n

Panettiere had reportedly flown from Los Angeles to South Carolina with her on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, <\/a>the day before she died. Her \u201cNashville\u201d co-star Charles Esten had performed a show at a venue sharing an address with the apartment complex two nights earlier, though police have not said whether that was connected to her presence in town.<\/p>\n

Panettiere had spoken openly in recent years about struggling with alcohol, opioids and postpartum depression, <\/a>chronicling the journey in her memoir, \u201cThis Is Me: A Reckoning.\u201d Her younger brother, actor Jansen Panettiere, died in 2023 at age 28 from complications related to an enlarged heart.<\/p>\n

Her father, Alan Panettiere, asked for privacy in a statement: \u201cShe was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her \u2014 and to the millions who watched her onscreen.\u201d<\/p>\n
