Image: SCA \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After taking a few weeks away from radio,<strong> Triple M Mid North Coast Breakfast<\/strong> host <strong>George Sargent<\/strong> -affectionately known as \u2018Sarge\u2019 \u2013 officially returned to the airwaves this morning, opening up about the reason for his absence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sarge revealed that a few weeks ago, his mental health deteroriated to the point where he had to be hospitalised.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said people had been asking if he\u2019d been on holidays, sick \u2026 or even sacked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the \u2018elephant in the room,\u2019 Sarge said \u201cA few weeks ago, my mental health declined to the point where I ended up in hospital, getting the medical attention I clearly needed. I want to say a massive thank you to the doctors, my close friends, my family and my colleagues for supporting me through what has been a really difficult time. This extended time away from work has been exactly what I needed and I\u2019d encourage anyone who is feeling down and out to reach out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd if you need a break \u2026 take it.
