\n\tSYDNEY, Australia <\/strong>\u2014 The 40th\u00a0ARIA Awards will be presented Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Sydney\u2019s Hordern Pavilion, on Gadigal land \u2014 the sixth consecutive year at the iconic venue.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpotify returns as headline sponsor for the ARIAs, the Australian recording industry\u2019s flagship awards ceremony, while free-to-air network 10 will broadcast the ceremony, and Paramount+ will stream it live.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso announced today (Aug. 19) by labels body ARIA, the date for the\u00a02026 ARIA Awards\u00a0nominations. The full shortlist will be unveiled on Thursday, Sept. 24.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe likes of multiple ARIA Award winners Amyl and The Sniffers<\/a>, The Kid LAROI, Ninajirachi<\/a>, Dom Dolla<\/a>\u00a0and Troye Sivan \u201care all proof of that,\u201d Herd continues, \u201cand there is a generation behind them who will take Australian music somewhere none of us can picture yet.<\/p>\n

\n\tDestination NSW supports the ARIAs, while Spotify returns for a second year as presenting partner and will amplify the\u00a0awards\u00a0with its global platform, in-app voting and a global OOH campaign.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast time<\/a>, ARIA announced \u201ca record year of engagement across Australia and the world,\u201d through\u00a0its first-year partnership<\/a>\u00a0with Spotify. Two weeks after the 2025 ARIAs, organizers reported 696,836 public votes were cast across Spotify and the ARIA website, a total more than 200% up from corresponding edition the prior year. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThat tally was broken down to 614,490 via Spotify and 82,316 via\u00a0aria.com.au<\/a>, for one of the \u201cstrongest\u201d votes in ARIAs history.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe ARIA\u2019s milestone celebrations got underway in June with a special Hall of Fame<\/a> event at Sydney\u2019s Carriageworks, where six acts who were inducted: the late Gurrumul, Jenny Morris, Kate Ceberano, Spiderbait, The Living End and Vika & Linda.<\/p>\n
