Radio Training Network (RTN) is expanding its station portfolio with the acquisition of two FMs from Cumulus Media for $2.05 million.<\/p>\n

The deal calls for RTN to acquire classic rock \u201c98.3 The Keg\u201d KKEG Bentonville\/Fayetteville, AR, and classic rock \u201cI-95\u201d WIXV Savannah, GA. The transaction will mark RTN\u2019s entry into Arkansas.<\/p>\n

RTN already operates Christian AC \u201cHis Radio\u201d WLFS (91.9) in the Savannah market. WIXV\u2019s Class C1 signal will provide the organization with a larger FM signal in the market.<\/p>\n

The transaction is the second deal between Cumulus and RTN in recent months. In May<\/a>, Cumulus agreed to sell \u201cNash Icon 93.3\u201d WWFF Huntsville, AL, \u201c100.5 The Game\u201d WWFN Florence, SC and classic hip-hop \u201cOG 97.9\u201d W250BC Atlanta to RTN for $2.45 million.<\/p>\n

Beyond \u201cHis Radio,\u201d Radio Training Network operates the Christian \u201cJoy FM\u201d network across Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, along with two stations in the Springfield, MO, market.<\/p>\n

In Savannah, Cumulus will continue to own country \u201cKix 96\u201d WJCL-FM, adult R&B \u201cMagic 103.9\u201d WTYB and hip-hop \u201cE93\u201d WEAS-FM.<\/p>\n

In the Fayetteville Northwest Arkansas market, Cumulus will retain six stations: sports \u201c92.1 The Ticket\u201d KQSM, classic country \u201c94.3 Nash Icon\u201d KAMO-FM, adult alternative \u201c94.9 Radio Jon\/Deek\u201d KRMW, CHR \u201cPower 105.7\u201d KMCK, talk KFAY (1030) and sports \u201cThe Ticket 2\u201d KYNG (1590).<\/p>\n
