The plan came to light after Huawei Watch D3 appeared on the certification page. It sounds like blood pressure wearables have begun gaining more traction in the market.

In the latest leak, SmartPikachu reported that apart from the Magic 9 series, Honor is up with a blood pressure watch. The company is evaluating the new wearable and may launch it next month alongside the 2026 flagship lineup.

The tipster further pointed out that Honor has more wearable models in the pipeline. Perhaps we may also witness a smart band by the end of this year.

Blood pressure smartwatch came into existence in 2021 with the Huawei Watch D. It is a specialized wearable designed to monitor blood pressure accurately.

Huawei developed the medical wrist gadget using a built-in mini air pump and an inflatable wrist airbag strap to take real systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings, just like a traditional medical blood pressure measurement machine.

Inflatable airbag squeezes the wrist through a real mechanical cuff while the mini air pump inflates the strap to detect pulse and pressure changes in real time. A special pressure sensor further keeps readings accurate.

Honor already has wearables like the Watch 6/6 Plus and Watch 5 Pro that support blood pressure health research and trend-monitoring feature. Though these devices estimate blood pressure risk and trend instead of performing a direct measurement.

In other words, they can analyze physical data via optical sensors to screen for high blood pressure risk patterns. But it’s only for general wellness and trend tracking.

Now the company is probably working on a pure blood pressure watch. It is unclear, though, what significant changes it will bring over the previous models or against the upcoming Huawei Watch D3.

Honor is planning to launch a new blood pressure watch in the market.
