Bleech\u00a09:3<\/a>\u00a0have shared their brooding new\u00a0single \u2018Figure 8\u2019 \u2013 check it out below.<\/p>\n

The London-based Irish band released their self-titled five-song EP in May and now they have followed it up with this new track, released yesterday (August 19) via Polydor Records.<\/p>\n

\u2018Figure 8\u2019 was produced by the acclaimed producer\u00a0Dan Carey<\/a>\u00a0(Fontaines D.C.<\/a>,\u00a0Kae Tempest<\/a>,\u00a0Wet Leg<\/a>) and mixed by Rich Costey, whose credits include\u00a0Arctic Monkeys <\/a>and Bruce Springsteen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The song sees frontman Barry \u2018Baz\u2019 Quinlan\u2019s moody vocals jostling for supremacy with squalling, urgent guitars and a tight, propulsive rhythm.<\/p>\n

Describing the song\u2019s origins, Quinlan has said: \u201c\u2018Figure 8\u2019 is the product of crying quietly so your\u00a0flatmates\u00a0don\u2019t hear you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The band have been playing festivals around Europe this summer and are set to open for\u00a0Wunderhorse<\/a>\u00a0in Belfast and Cork next week, before appearances at\u00a0Reading & Leeds<\/a>, Electric Picnic and Iceland Airwaves.<\/p>\n

They are also set to play a UK and Ireland headline tour later this year, including a show at London\u2019s Electric Ballroom. See the dates below and find any remaining tickets\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
