The mid-sized device with an extremely broad display claims to deliver a formidable experience, perfect for those who love watching movies or playing games!<\/p>\n<p>While we have been expecting to see Huawei\u2019s wide non-foldable phone next month, the company has surprised everyone by introducing the Pura X View at the HarmonyOS Smart Mobility Enjoy G9 electric vehicle launch event.<\/p>\n<p>Huawei Pura X View debuts with a 6.68mm ultra-slim design and weighs 201 grams. A glimpse at the device shows it as a twin of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-wide-phone-camera-setup\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pura X Max<\/a>, but with a folding hinge.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-153421\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/dimensions.jpg\" alt=\"Huawei Pura X View dimensions\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Display<\/strong> \u2013 Huawei Pura X View equips the industry\u2019s first 16:9.5 wide screen with uniform, slimmer bezels surrounding the display measuring 1.05mm. The screen-to-body ratio has hit 96.1%, while the overall screen size is 6.39 inches.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Yu, the Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business, mentioned that the device has a display area of 114.27 cm\u00b2. Even though the screen is small, it can offer a greater display content area compared to many 6.9-inch regular phone models.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-153422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/display-content-area.jpg\" alt=\"Huawei Pura X View display content area\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Pura X View sports an OLED screen panel with 2232 x 1320 pixel resolution, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 1000000:1 contrast ratio, and 6500-nit peak brightness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design<\/strong> \u2013 Huawei has maintained the racetrack-like camera bar on the back of the Pura X View wide phone, followed by a striped texture throughout the panel. It comes in four premium color schemes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shadow Red<\/li>\n<li>Linen Grey<\/li>\n<li>Zero White<\/li>\n<li>Phantom Black<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-153419\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Pura-X-View-colors.jpg\" alt=\"Huawei Pura X View colors\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The company has further packed a 7000mAh battery into the flagship phone despite its compact and slim design. Huawei says:<\/p>\n<p>Pura X View phone supports high-definition video playback, high-definition reading, high-definition gaming, and high-definition office work!<\/p>\n<p>Another highlight of the Pura X View is that it is Huawei\u2019s first phone to come out of the box with stable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/harmonyos-7-multi-device-collaboration\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HarmonyOS 7.0<\/a> software version. While many devices are still eyeing the public beta program of the new iteration, the new wide phone already has perks.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-orders for the Pura X View will begin on August 28.
