This followed a successful launch last month by state-owned China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), which achieved the <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/economy\/china-economy\/article\/3360338\/chinas-historic-sea-based-rocket-recovery-puts-spotlight-domestic-shipbuilder?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">world\u2019s first recovery<\/a> of an orbital-class booster at sea using a net-capture system.Defence experts said the technology would dramatically lower the cost of putting satellites into space and increase the frequency of launches.
