Well, not quite yet \u2014 but a first look at him is.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/bbc\/\" id=\"auto-tag_bbc_1\" data-tag=\"bbc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BBC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/britbox\/\" id=\"auto-tag_britbox_1\" data-tag=\"britbox\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BritBox<\/a> revealed first-look images of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/edward-bluemel-young-hercule-poirot-britbox-bbc-1236616440\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Edward Bluemel<\/a> (My Lady Jane, Killing Eve, Sex Education, A Discovery of Witches) as a young <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/hercule-poirot\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hercule-poirot_1\" data-tag=\"hercule-poirot\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hercule Poirot<\/a> in the upcoming six-part series\u00a0Hercule\u00a0from Mammoth Screen and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/digital\/agatha-christie-writing-course-ai-bbc-maestro-1236204003\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Agatha Christie<\/a> Ltd. on Friday.\u00a0Check them out in the main image of this article and a shot from a bit more of a distance below. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe series, which has started filming in Liverpool, is described as \u201can intimate study of Hercule Poirot, the man, and an epic portrait of Britain between the wars.\u201d\u00a0Hercule\u00a0will center around three of Christie\u2019s early stories of the Belgian detective, while also introducing the famous sleuth to future friends and allies and, according to a synopsis, \u201cone particular nemesis \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPreviously unveiled to join Bluemel in the cast of the new series were Henry Ashton (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, A Good Girl\u2019s Guide to Murder), James D\u2019Arcy (Oppenheimer, Constellations), Calvin Demba (Supacell, Life), Phil Dunning (Smoggie Queens, Am I Being Unreasonable?), Jack Gleeson (House of Guinness, In the Land of the Saints and Sinners), Tamsin Greig (Riot Women, Friday Night Dinner), James Nesbitt (Cold Feet, Run Away), Guy Remmers (The Buccaneers, Lessons), Rebecca Rittenhouse (His &amp; Hers, Maggie) and Mawaan Rizwan (Juice, The Split Up).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tChristie\u2019s Poirot novels have sold more than 750 million copies.
