DALTON \u2014 Berkshire Money Management has promoted financial adviser Scott C. Little to partner.<\/p>\n
The promotion recognizes Little\u2019s longstanding contributions to BMM, its clients and the team he has helped shape throughout his career.<\/p>\n
Little has been with BMM for 24 of the firm\u2019s 25 years and has served as vice president since 2002. During that time, he has helped generations of families navigate important financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence.<\/p>\n
His approach emphasizes understanding the emotions behind those decisions, listening closely to clients and helping them navigate some of life\u2019s biggest transitions, including retirement, new beginnings, divorce and loss.<\/p>\n
\u201cScott\u2019s influence can be felt in so many parts of BMM, and I\u2019m incredibly grateful for everything he\u2019s brought to this firm,\u201d said Allen Harris, founder and CEO of Berkshire Money Management. \u201cOver the years, he\u2019s become someone our co-owner and chief engagement officer, Stacey Carver, and I trust deeply; someone our team turns to for guidance, and someone our clients know they can count on.<\/p>\n
“He\u2019s helped teach and mentor the next generation of advisors while continually raising the bar for how we care for our clients,” Harris said. “Scott has played an important role in building the BMM we know today, and I\u2019m excited to have him help lead us into what comes next.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a partner, Little will take on a more formal role in shaping the firm\u2019s future, including participating in owner meetings, succession planning, business development strategy, and adviser recruitment and development. He will also help develop new initiatives, guide strategic projects and contribute to the long-term vision for BMM.<\/p>\n
For Little, the work is a natural extension of the role he has already played within the firm.<\/p>\n

Little\u2019s commitment to clients is deeply personal. Many years ago, an insurance agent sold his parents financial products that ultimately left them in a precarious position as they approached retirement. That experience shaped his philosophy as an adviser and inspired him to treat every client with the same care and concern he would give his own family. Today, many of Little\u2019s clients consider him part of their family, reflecting the lasting relationships he works to build and maintain.<\/p>\n
Little holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and is a certified elder planning specialist and behavioral financial adviser. His areas of interest include family financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning and behavioral finance.<\/p>\n
A lifelong Berkshire County resident, Little lives in Adams with his wife, Julie, and their daughter, Abbey.
