{"id":650894,"date":"2026-08-22T15:37:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-22T15:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/650894\/"},"modified":"2026-08-22T15:37:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-22T15:37:13","slug":"huawei-is-an-exception-will-continue-to-rise-in-2027-global-phone-market-counterpoint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/650894\/","title":{"rendered":"Huawei is an exception, will continue to rise in 2027 global phone market: Counterpoint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Counterpoint has published a new forecast regarding the future of the global phone market amid rising component cost pressure, and while the challenges will likely persist in 2027, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/a-7-inch-huawei-smartphone-is-in-works-and-its-mid-ranger\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Huawei<\/a> seems to be an exceptional brand in terms of growth.<\/p>\n<p>The report <a href=\"https:\/\/counterpointresearch.com\/en\/insights\/global-smartphone-market-to-fall-14-percent-in-2026-as-samsung-to-retake-number-1-position\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">says<\/a> despite the growing pressure of component prices, Huawei is currently the only brand that expects significant growth in the 2027 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-nova-15-max-to-take-on-global-phones-with-8500mah-battery\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">global phone<\/a> market.<\/p>\n<p>Huawei shipments could grow further by 4.3% in 2027 \u2013 driven by its strong demand in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-leads-chinas-smartphone-market-despite-8-6-yoy-fall\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">China<\/a>. On the other hand, it is maintaining a subtle price strategy that is contributing to its growth in both the home ground and overseas segments.<\/p>\n<p>Although there is a catch!<\/p>\n<p>While the tech giant is seeing good growth in the coming months, its shipment performance may be influenced more by the availability of components and production capacity than by consumer demand.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, the recovery outside China remains limited to select regions. However, improvements in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-mate-90-to-use-kirin-9030-pro-rs-models-to-adopt-tau-law-chips\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kirin chips<\/a> can elevate Huawei\u2019s growth in the phone market to a greater extent. Counterpoint adds:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuawei remains an important exception. Huawei shipments are forecast to grow by approximately 8% in 2026 and a further 4.3% in 2027, supported by strong demand in China, improving domestic component capabilities and continued progress with HiSilicon processors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Per the report, the global smartphone market could see a stronger recovery by 2028 and may grow by 4.8%. Supply visibility should improve next year, but affordability may recover more slowly because higher-cost inventory must first move through the channel.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the pressure will remain on brands in 2027.
