Many may not know this, but Nick Fury has a son in the prime Marvel Comics<\/a> universe. He debuted in 2011’s <\/a>Battle Scars<\/a> <\/a>along with a Marvel Studios character, Phil Coulson. A fun fact about Fury Jr. is that his look is based on the Ultimate Universe’s Nick Fury. It’s also the same version that the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/a> uses, with the character’s appearance modelled exactly after Samuel L. Jackson’s portrayal. Considering that the Marvel Studios version is more liked and recognizable than the original one, it makes sense that he’d be brought into the comics.<\/p>\n

Some things about the character have changed, like he’s a lot younger and is a much better fighter. One thing that hasn’t been altered, however, is that you can’t trust him. That much became clear in the recent issue of the Marvel Comics crossover Avengers: Armageddon.<\/p>\n
