For anyone who isn’t an ardent Alfa Romeo enthusiast, some explanations are clearly in order. So, we’re talking about the iconic badge that’s full of rich history in itself.

To put it short, the Alfa Romeo logo contains a legendary, large-sized crowned serpent eating a human – and it’s directly inspired by the historical symbol of the city of Milan that’s in turn fashioned after the coat of arms of the medieval Visconti family. It’s good that we got that conundrum out of the way, right?

Now, let’s imagine a situation where the Alfa Romeo Biscione gets elevated to a new role in the company’s lineup: for example, what if Stellantis decided to make it a model of its own? Perhaps that may not be possible in the real world, given Alfa Romeo’s new role as part of Stellantis’s €60 billion Fastlane 2030 strategic plan, as the Italian brand has been repositioned as a second-tier regional brand instead of a potential global volume driver like Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and Fiat.

However, it recently happened across the parallel universe of vehicular CGI thanks to a member of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators. Alfa Romeo, an iconic premium Italian automaker, has a mountain of historic achievements in technology, style, and motorsport. Alas, its bright star began to slowly fade away in recent years with the old Giulia sedan and Stelvio crossover SUV, the less-than-successful Tonale compact CUV, and its only sports car is now the 33 Stradale, which is an exotic idea done in just 33 examples.

Only the recent Alfa Romeo Junior subcompact crossover SUV, made since 2024 by FCA Poland on the Stellantis CMF (Common Modular Platform) just like the Peugeot 2008 II, Opel Mokka B, Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, DS 3 Crossback, and more, has kept up the banner in terms of sales, helping the Italian brand recover in places like Europe. But clearly, this isn’t enough when you think about the sporty Alfa Romeo legacy, which is now devoid of a proper mainstream sports car.

Well, that problem was recently solved across Fantasy Land, where Abel Bahri, the virtual automotive designer tucked behind ‘abel_design_‘ on social media, has envisioned an exotic Alfa Romeo sports car. More precisely, the pixel master has imagined the Biscione could become an unofficial, hypothetical design project, and instead of a famous logo, the Biscione is now a proper two-door coupe sports car.

The CGI expert initially showed us just a preview of their Alfa Romeo Biscione concept, showcasing its sleek profile with a long hood, small greenhouse, muscular lines on the sides with a Quadrifoglio logo tucked low, large gun-barrel wheels, and a short tail with the hint of a ducktail spoiler for the rear. Luckily, now more POVs have surfaced, and we’re able to look at the Biscione from the front and rear, too.

That means that additional details are more easily seen, like the front, which has an integrated Scudetto, with the distinctive triangular front grille now integrated into the front end styling and sporting body-color louvers. The hood is equipped with its own louvers, the LED headlights have triple-stacked bands, the LED taillights mirror them in reverse, and even the third LED brake light is composed of eight separate elements. Cool or not?

7 photos Photo: abel_design_ / Instagram Do you know exactly what the Biscione is?
