There, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten bloody by more popular fighters for cash. <\/p>\n<p>Through his work at the fight club, Kid has a plan to exact vengeance against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and continue to systematically victimise the poor and powerless.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the trailer for Monkey Man right here:<\/p>\n<p>This is thanks to Patel&#8217;s commanding and sympathetic lead turn and the movie&#8217;s blend of bone-crunching, stylish action and social commentary.<\/p>\n<p>Monkey Man is airing on TV tonight on <strong>BBC One at 10.40pm<\/strong>.
