\t\t\t\tDid you think that the Lamborghini Revuelto<\/a> can no longer make headlines? After all, it\u2019s been three years since it hit the assembly line at the Sant\u2019Agata Bolognese facility in Italy.\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

That would clearly be a no, because at least once every few days, an example catches our attention. And when that happens, it is due to different reasons. It\u2019s either for sale, was put through its paces against something equally punchy, or it has been visited by the tuning fairy. And in this case, it is the latter. The vehicle you see in the photo gallery above has come directly from @1016industries on Instagram, which is where the tuner chose to advertise it.<\/p>\n

According to the company, the so-called \u201caero program\u201d is said to be \u201cthe perfect addition to your (Lamborghini) Revuelto<\/a>.\u201d The kit is said to be available in narrowbody and widebody configurations, and besides the usual paintable FRP, it can also be had in twill \/ forged carbon. Still, we wouldn\u2019t suggest the latter option, because the supercar will look like something that has come from Mansory\u2019s garage. And you do not want that. Or do you?<\/p>\n

Care to discuss the novelties? Well, the front hood came from the aftermarket world, for one, and features a pair of recesses on each side of the corporate logo. With a couple of extra lights mounted there, this tuned Lamborghini Revuelto would have reminded us of the adventurous Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. You know, as in the jacked-up supercar that sent off the brand\u2019s previous-generation supercar. Sure, it would need more aftermarket work for that, but hey, it had to be said.<\/p>\n

Further down, we can see that the front bumper is the OEM element<\/a>, albeit with a new apron attached to it. The latter part is quite discreet, save for the blades on the sides. The supercar\u2019s profile pretty much carries over with no changes, apart from the side skirt extensions, which also feature blades in front of the rear wheels. We are not wheel experts, but from what we can tell, this Lamborghini Revuelto sits on fresh alloys. Still, you may want to refrain from quoting us on that, as we could be wrong.<\/p>\n

The changes continue at the rear, where the plug-in hybrid supercar features a new wing. It is very tricky to tell whether the diffuser is OEM or new, but it does look a lot like the stock part. This Lamborghini Revuelto features a satin gray look on the outside, and the extras were painted black for some sort of contrast. Black is also the color of the wheels, though the brake calipers are red, and so is a part of the interior, which is visible in certain images by zooming in through the windows. The decals on the rear pillars round off the makeover.<\/p>\n

Are you somehow wondering about the oily bits? Well, you shouldn\u2019t because 1016 Industries is only advertising the visual extras mentioned above in this case. As a result, chances are that the Lamborghini Revuelto you see in the gallery above retains its stock powertrain<\/a>. This means a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine and three electric motors. The PHEV assembly is good for 1,001 bhp (1,015 ps\/747 kW) in total, enabling 0-62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in just 2.5 seconds, and a 217 mph (350 kph) top speed.<\/p>\n

If you want superior performance, then you can go down the tuning route by reaching out to various companies out there, or you can simply place a deposit for the new Lamborghini Revuelto SV. This is the brand\u2019s fastest and most powerful production car ever, and it debuted earlier this month.<\/p>\n

It has 1,050 brake horsepower (1,065 ps\/783 kW) combined from its upgraded powertrain<\/a>, is one-tenth of a second faster than the regular Revuelto from 0-62 mph (2.4 seconds), and will run out of breath at 216 mph (348 kph), which is less than the regular model, for whatever reason.<\/p>\n

The new supercar also benefits from a revised chassis setup, rides on center-locking wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, has uprated brakes, a unique front fascia with a pronounced splitter, a fixed rear wing, new cooling ducts for the rear brakes, and features SV decals on the rear three-quarter panels. It also generates 80 percent more downforce than the regular Revuelto, features a tweaked steering wheel, has carbon fiber door cards, updated displays, and a few other bits and bobs.<\/p>\n

Production of this model, which promises to offer high customization levels, will be capped at only 1,963 examples, so if you want to spruce up your life with one, then you should hurry up and place a deposit. That is, if you can afford it, because it starts at almost $750,000<\/a> in the United States of America, and that\u2019s some $150K more than the regular one.<\/p>\n
