All about Abhay Deol\u2019s happy home in North Goa<\/p>\n

Talking about none other than Abhay Deol, over the years, the man has been known for his skill set on the big screen. However, did you know that the star is all about keeping things simple and eco-friendly as well? Deol\u2019s home features a lot of amenities and also has a lot of space, but did you know that the star\u2019s heart has always been set on more extravagant pieces?His haven in Assagao, North Goa, did not happen overnight and took quite a bit of time to conceptualize and complete. However, Deol was able to get his vision just right with the help of his architects. While talking to The Hollywood Reporter India, the ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara’ actor shared, \u201cI described it to my architects [Vishakha Dholakia Chowdhry and Muninder Singh Chowdhry] saying, ‘When I\u2019m looking at the person in front of me, I don\u2019t want to see the ceiling\u2014or want any windows.'” With no bugs and the AC on.\u201dDeol\u2019s \u2018Glass House\u2019 is a unique piece of art on its own. The actor had wished for his house to feel as if he were standing outside while staying inside his home, and his architects and designers were able to bring the vision to life. He opened up about how his living room is the space where everyone hangs out and one of the favorite parts of the house. He added, \u201cYour lifestyle definitely comes into play in the way you deal with situations, people, and your work. I’m not someone who takes his work home. I was that person early on in my career, and it would define my mood. But I realized it was unhealthy, unnecessary, and egotistical.\u201d<\/p>\n

A glimpse into Abhay Deol\u2019s Glass House<\/p>\n

In an old video with Asian Paints for their \u2018Where The Heart Is\u2019 series, the actor had even provided fans and netizens with a glimpse of his cozy abode tucked away in the lush greenery of North Goa. The house features high ceilings with essentially no windows in the middle of the greenery, offering a 360-degree scenic view. The interior of the house is filled with rustic details to provide balance, with the living room hall featuring black granite floors, a lot of dark wood detailing, contrasting blue-painted walls, and exposed walls, along with artwork and decorative pieces. His living room is one of the coziest places in the house.In the rustic setting, to add a pop of color, Deol\u2019s home is filled with colorful couches, printed upholstery, and dining table areas with colorful seating chairs.
