Sean Seymour, one of Lloyd\u2019s bandmates in the Richard Lloyd Group, wrote on the campaign page that Lloyd was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma in March, and has since survived two bouts of sepsis and seven visits to the ICU. He adds that Richard is unable to tour and that his wife, Sheila, is working as his full-time caregiver.<\/p>\n<p>Lloyd provided the following statement to the campaign: \u201cI am usually a pretty upbeat person and I am taking this in stride, but it has become very difficult on our own and financially we are strapped. That\u2019s why I\u2019m asking for your help. If you can see your way clear to make a donation please do that.
