Jack White<\/a> is offering students discounted tickets to his upcoming UK and Ireland tour. Find out all the details below.<\/p>\n

The musician kicks off his UK and Ireland tour in support of \u2018Frozen Charlotte\u2019<\/a> at London\u2019s Eventim Apollo on tonight (August 25). The gig is followed by shows in Bristol, Newcastle and Belfast and two nights at Dublin\u2019s 3Olympia Theatre. Now, White has announced that a \u201climited number\u201d of \u00a320\/\u20ac20 tickets will be available for students heading to the London or Ireland dates.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese tickets can only be purchased in-person at the venue\u2019s box office on show day, and will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a valid student ID,\u201d White wrote on his Instagram yesterday.<\/p>\n

Only one ticket will be available per student ID, and more information is available on each venue\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

The tour comes in celebration of \u2018Frozen Charlotte\u2019, White\u2019s seventh solo record. In a three-and-a-half-star review<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0wrote that it \u201cmay not rank among his classic work but it\u2019s good fun\u201d, adding: \u201cIt\u2019s gonna really be something live, and it works to show that White doesn\u2019t need to reinvent the wheel when he can give you one hell of a ride on his own.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere,\u00a0White recently brought out The Black Crowes\u2019 Chris Robinson in Chicago for a cover of Free\u2019s 1969 track \u2018I\u2019m A Mover\u2019<\/a>, and\u00a0was joined by his daughter Scarlett in Brooklyn for three White Stripes songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile,\u00a0Jack White\u2019s Third Man Records has announced a run of pop-up stores across the UK and Ireland<\/a>. They\u2019ll stock exclusive vinyl, limited edition merchandise, posters and books, as well as a series of homemade \u201cbootleg\u201d editions of his records.<\/p>\n
