Enzo Maresca has got his man after Manchester City<\/a> agreed to make Enzo Fernandez<\/a> the most expensive midfielder of all time when striking a deal with Chelsea, according to a report.<\/p>\n

Man City<\/a> have made monumental changes to their squad this summer, with James Trafford, Nathan Ake, John Stones, Manuel Akanji, Rodri, Kalvin Phillips, Nico Gonzalez, Tijjani Reijnders, Bernardo Silva, Savio and Omar Marmoush all leaving.<\/p>\n

There have been a select few mega-money arrivals, most notably Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi.<\/p>\n

Anderson set a new benchmark when completing his transfer from Nottingham Forest, becoming the most expensive midfielder ever to the tune of \u00a3116m.<\/p>\n

However, that record will now fall, according to TyC Sports<\/a>, who claim Enzo Fernandez<\/a> will take the mantle.<\/p>\n

Man City agree record-breaking \u00a3120m Enzo Fernandez transfer<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Argentine outlet wrote on Thursday night: \u2018The Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez saga is nearing its end.<\/p>\n

\u2018The parties have reached an agreement and he will join Manchester City in another mega-money transfer.\u2019<\/p>\n

They added: \u2018Manchester City will pay around \u20ac140 million for him: he will sign a contract until 2032, with the option to extend for another season..\u2019<\/p>\n

\u20ac140m currently equates to \u00a3120m, which is the price Chelsea<\/a> had put on Fernandez\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

The Blues are now fully expected to sign a high calibre replacement for Fernandez, and they won\u2019t lack for funds in their search.<\/p>\n

Fernandez moving to Man City will be welcome news for everyone at the Etihad, but especially new manager Maresca.<\/p>\n

He has been a driving force behind this move, having desired a reunion with Fernandez who he managed at Stamford Bridge throughout the summer.<\/p>\n

Man City to sign top-class winger next<\/strong><\/p>\n

Man City also fully intend to sign a new winger, with TEAMtalk understanding an \u00a380m bid is being prepped for Everton\u2019s Iliman Ndiaye<\/a>. If Ndiaye does make the switch, Jack Grealish is expected to move the other way.<\/p>\n

Detailing the latest on that situation on Thursday night, transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, explained<\/a>: \u201cMan City are working on Iliman Ndiaye deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe swap deal is possible, Grealish back to Everton \u2026 it\u2019s Everton and also Aston Villa calling as a possibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut Everton are ready to include Jack Grealish in a conversation about Ndiaye.<\/p>\n

\u201cNdiaye said no to Al-Hilal and another Saudi club this summer. He wants to stay in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan City, who share a very good relationship with the agents of the player, are working hard to sign the player.<\/p>\n

\u201cNegotiations are ongoing, so he\u2019s a serious option on Man City\u2019s list.\u201d<\/p>\n
