Celtic might\u2019ve been expecting the cold shoulder on their return from another European failure.<\/p>\n
Instead they got a warm embrace as Camilo Duran made sure the Hoops came back to some sense of domestic bliss.<\/p>\n
Supporters might still be fuming following the LASK collapse in midweek but there was no sign of the dark clouds that hung over Parkhead for long spells last term after similar Euro shame.<\/p>\n
There was some mild finger-wagging from the usual parts of the ground, but mainly there was a hint of forgiveness in the air as the side looked to avoid another six-month Champions League hangover.<\/p>\n
Despite Callum McGregor being ill and Kasper Hogh nursing a knock, the Hoops still had plenty to see off Falkirk, with Duran lethal through the middle and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain slick in midfield.<\/p>\n
Haissem Hassan got to show off some of his fancy footwork and Luke McCowan got a nice response from the crowd after getting leathered by the online trolls after LASK.<\/p>\n
The Bairns nabbed one back late on but never really threatened to turn the mood sour as the entire club dusted itself down from the Linz rinsing.<\/p>\n
